The People Behind The Name

Here at Cedarland Homes, we take great pride in being a family business, with family and community values. With every company, there are faces behind the name. We like to bring the faces in front of the name. Here are some of the staff you may see around the office…

Paul Lubbelinkhof – Paul started in the building industry almost 40 years ago, at the time working with foundations and concrete, and  eventually moving into framing and finishing carpentry. This career path has provided Paul with a wealth of knowledge and experience that allows him to provide educated opinions and suggestions to his customers on all aspects of their building project. Paul took on the job of running Cedarland Homes Ltd in 2003, taking over from his father who ran the company for 25 years.


Greg Lubbelinkhof – Greg has been part of the family business since 2003 and is now a 3rd generation owner at Cedarland Homes. You will typically find Greg in the office overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business.  Greg’s experience in building, design, project management and sales allows him to have a broad and unique perspective within the business which he uses to improve the overall experience for our clients.


Derek McLeod – Derek joined Cedarland Homes in 2018 and is our Project Manager.   Electrician by trade, Derek brings not only years of experience on the job site, but a solid understanding of project management.  His knowledge and experience are utilized to help us maintain quality and efficiency on each of our projects.

 


Mark Embury – Mark works out of our sales centre in Parry Sound as a building consultant. Mark was a past customer of Cedarland Homes and enjoyed the process so much that he joined our team in a sales role to share his experiences and knowledge to help make others building dreams come true. Amanda Saunders – Amanda oversees our design team and is a graduate of the Interior Design program at Georgian College.  Amanda works with many of our clients on the initial design changes and then follows through the process to make sure everything is completed as the client has requested.  You may also see Amanda out on sites for design meetings and consultations with clients.


Katelyn Moore – Katelyn started with Cedarland Homes in 2012 as part of our design team. As an Interior Design graduate Katelyn works with our customers to help them in choosing the details that make their new home or cottage unique to them. Whether its working on your new kitchen design, helping you choose colors or researching new products, Katelyn excels in giving you great options and advice.


 

Jon Briggs – Jon has been a versatile part of the Cedarland Homes team since 2008.  He is our Project Coordinator and diligently oversees job sites regularly to help us maintain quality and efficiency on each of our projects.  He brings a high level of expertise and passion for the job to every project he oversees.

 


 

 

 

 

 

Brent Gingrich– As the lead carpenter at Cedarland Homes, Brent is valued for his vast knowledge and experience in carpentry as well as his hard work and attention to detail. The training handed down to him from his father and others has equipped Brent to be an asset to our team and your build. You will see Brent on job sites overseeing his crew.

 


Krysta Lachapelle  – Krysta is our in-house Accountant and assists our customers with the task of tracking the financials of their build.  Her expertise and passion for the industry keeps everyone on track and takes the stress out of what is usually one of the biggest investments of people’s lives.  Krysta works closely with our Sales and Design departments to ensure the financial end of your build is seamless.

Sandra Barker  – Sandra takes care of the recruitment for our team and makes sure that we have not just qualified, but dedicated, highly talented and engaged crew members on our team to build your home or cottage.  With 20 years of HR and Health & Safety experience you can sleep easy knowing that the “behind the scenes” part of your build is running smoothly.  She also switches hats frequently to manage our marketing initiatives to keep customers old and new, up-to-date with our tweets & posts!
