Painting Supervisor
Job Description
As the Painting Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our projects meet the high-quality aesthetic standards our clients expect. You will lead a crew on-site, managing both interior and exterior finishes for luxury custom builds and cottages.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting, including drywall taping, mudding,
sanding, patching, and priming.Repair and finish drywall surfaces to a smooth, paint-ready finish.
Apply paints, stains, and protective coatings to both interior and exterior surfaces using
brushes, rollers, or sprayers.Identify surface imperfections and perform necessary repairs to ensure a high-quality
finish.Match colours and maintain consistency in texture and finish across all surfaces.
Protect work areas and adjacent surfaces using drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic
sheeting.Ensure proper surface preparation for both interior and exterior painting.
Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with safety regulations and company
standards.Lead team members to ensure the project is completed efficiently and on schedule.
Maintain painting and drywall tools and equipment in good working condition.
Accurately estimate materials needed and report progress to supervisors.
Requirements
- 5–7 years painting experience
- 5 – 7 years drywall finishing experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid G license
- Provide own CSA approved footwear.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
