From the first time we walked into the Cedarland model home in Parry Sound we knew that we wanted to customize and build a cottage similar to it. We loved the fact that we were able to walk through a home and know the size of the different rooms and see the vaulted ceiling heights.
Working with Paul, Greg, Jen, Katelyn and Danielle on the design process was amazing. They were all so friendly and helpful and could clearly see our vision and were able to successfully turn it into a reality. Their knowledge and expertise was clear to see and they helped to make the entire process so easy. The samples in the showroom helped to simplify design choices and helped us to easily visualize what everything would look like in one convenient location. The showroom really helped us because of the fact that there are so many limitless options on the internet. For certain items such as the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and Cambria countertops we were able to find samples we loved quickly and easily and it saved us a lot of time.
As the cottage building began to take shape Cedarland provided us with pictures online on a weekly basis so we knew exactly what was happening. This was a wonderful benefit for us because we live over 2 hours away. Sahag did a wonderful job of onsite supervision. Every single time we went to check on the progress of the cottage we were amazed at how clean the site was maintained. We were so happy with all of the post and beam construction additions. We were provided with many options for additional upgrades along the way and they were always exactly what we wanted to make our dream cottage a reality.
We would strongly recommend the Cedarland team to anyone wanting to build a home or cottage. All of our friends and family who have come to visit our new cottage over the past few months can not believe how incredible it looks. Everyone always comments on the quality of the construction and they love all the high end design finishes that Cedarland provided.
